I was looking to listen. Listen to deals, listen to advice, and listen to how business is done. I learn by listening, asking, probing for the answers I need.

ATL was very successful for me. I talked to a great many people, learned some new things and found a nifty job.

Gotta love that.

Talking to people face to face makes a difference, I think. It's one thing to talk on a message board, Q, email, what have you, but it's another to get together face to face and talk. You learn about the other person in that manner.
