My main reasons are :
Meet old friends/clients I meet in person only couple of times a year at conventions
Meet in person people I already know "virtualy" from the boards and be able to put a face/name on the nick.
Networking and meet new one I never met before, neither in person or on boards
Get new business deals
Take some time for me out of the house (kind of vacatiion)
