I have a chance to meet people from other companies, websites and have a chance to get to know them a little bit better. See how they handle themselves.
And it also gives you a shot to speak with people, brainstorm,
and possibly strike up a business realationship with someone you wouldn't normally think to call or do business with.
And to answer the second question , Yes I usually find that at the conventions. I have always brought something home from shows,
and Atlanta was particularly successful.
