No shit, it's always the meat eaters baiting the vegitarians... go pick a fight somewhere else.

Now for some reasons to be vegie:

Animal agriculture is a terribly inefficient and pollution-filled way to feed people. Eating less meat is the second most important positive environmental decision ? second only to the choice of transportation ? that a consumer can make.

Scientific data suggests a positive relationship between a vegetarian diet and a reduced risk of several diseases and conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and some types of cancer especially colon cancer.

Your decision to reduce your meat, dairy and egg consumption has a great impact on reducing the suffering of animals overall. The average American will eat 1100 animals in his or her lifetime. By reducing or eliminating meat in your diet, you can save and deliver from abuse hundreds of animals.

Gone are the days when animals raised for human consumption were allowed to live naturally and breed naturally on the family farm. Gone also are the days of treating those animals with some basic level of human decency.
