Excuse my poor French, but what a crock of shit. Same old separatist rhetoric as what's been blathered about over the past 30 years or more. What exactly do your words here mean Wizdom? That 2 million separatists are gonna start a war if they don't get their way? Give me a break.

Listen, and listen good, from a guy that grew up in white-bread English Canada yet now lives in the heart of the largest French community in Canada outside of Quebec (St. Boniface) -- I have never complained about being forced to leard French (grade 3 to grade 10 mandatory), over the years I've known and befreinded tons and tons of French people, and in the 15 years of working in a French Catholic hospital (St. Boniface General) I came to understand even more of how the French value their culture. I consider myself to be a typical English-speaking Canadian in this regard, and I am very proud of Canada's French heritage and I'm proud to call old St. Boniface my home for the past 11 years.

What I am NOT proud of is all the separatist crap that has gone on over the years, from fuckers on St. Jean Babtiste day wiping their French fucking asses with the Canadian flag on Mount Royal to that Canadian shop-keeper mentioned above that was ordered to make the French words on his sign bigger than the English words, to the busloads of English schoolkids on a field trip having rocks thrown at their schoolbuses in the weeks following the referendum, to the fucking FLQ bombings back in 1970 during the October crisis. I've said this before and I'll say it again, I have lots of relatives that have lived in Quebec all their lives, my dad is from there, I have friends there, many are of French heritage, and NONE of them want to separate. There is nothing wrong with valuing your heritage, nothing wrong with teaching your children what it means to be French-Canadian, but the rest of Canada will ALWAYS draw the line when people become disloyal ungrateful separatists and start causing problems for the country. Some people in Quebec wonder why they get little or no respect from the rest of Canada? It's because of all the shit and the whining and the stupid comments like yours above about us kissing the queen's rings for fuck sake.

You were defeated in the referendum (twice as I recall). Only children must whine and whine until they get their own way, sorry to have to be the one to tell you but sometimes no means NO.
