Even though the first bite was a nasty one, my cop buddy who trained my dog and a couple LAPD K-9 guys would all take our dogs out at night to some of the parks in the valley and do hide and seek training together. Then I started to do volunteer work for a German Shepherd Rescue Group in the Valley. There'd be about 25 to 30 Sheps there at any one time and I and other volunteers who were able to handle K-9 dogs would go over and walk them for the old lady who ran the place.
I do a lot of stuff for animal rights as you can imagine.
