While I'm not actually a full blown vegetarian over the past 6 months I have cut meat consumption way down, to about once every few weeks. I feel a lot better, never have indigestion, no bloated feeling after I eat, and I don't get hungry like I used to for some reason. I thought I would miss meat but quite the opposite. The biggest problem I have with meat is all the steroids and antibiotics they pump into animals these days.
