i don't think you really should have to GET to that point with the person you truly love...good relationships are based on who each partner is BEFORE the relationship - not after. if you can be yourself then your realtionship will last - if you have to be someone else - ie wear a mask, it WILL eventually break down. might take YEARS, but it will happen
