god damn, I need to move there. Rent is is outrageous, $800/mo for a decent 1BR apartment is pretty much on the low-end of things. I've seen $600/mo places in pretty much the ghetto though.
houses? HA! a 3BR House here will run you upwards of $1800/mo min.
Man.. you could live on my rental budget if you needed to in a pinch.
