Exactly. But you have a larger problem in the middle east than the Nazi devestation in Western Europe. You have gross inequity in the current distribution of oil money.
It is a shame Iraq actually has quite a bit of money, and should have excellent long-term oil revenues, as do Saudi/Kuwait etc.
They just need long-term (50+ years) of support to insist on democratic policy and the creatation of a solid infrastructure.
However, a synchopant is likely to be installed, who cares about nothing save the size of his swiss account.
