Ive you want to buy a house as an investment, do it in West Phoenix (Avondale/Goodyear). My parents bought a house and in 2 years the value went up $30k

I bought a 3 bedroom house in Peoria (west of Phoenix) a year ago for $112K and it's now praised at $130k. Phoenix is OK if you learn to pace yourself. But I know I won't want to live here for ALL my life. I would love to live near the ocean but can't afford California's prices yet.
