They are there for your protection and to help the community. They deserve respect. They obviously arent in it for the money or the glamour of the job.

Wilber, have YOU ever arrested anyone? Ever had to struggle with a suspect who has a weapon and attempted to shoot a co-worker or friend or even regular citizen?? Until you have you cant say shit. Sometimes, tempers flare. Most of the time, you need to use more force to get the suspect to co-operate. Put yourself in that situation and tell me the cop doesnt deserve respect after that.
