It's called PER CAPITA STATISTICS, Slappy.
Sure, in terms of absolute numbers, there's more crap from the US but there's TONS more people who can afford Internet access in the US. However, if you do a per capita statistical breakdown,
there's more CRAP done with .RU internet connections than anywhere else.
Someone made a good point earlier, the population using the Internet in Russia tend to either be students or criminals, that's why increasingly no one would trust them.
