A couple of years back I did this.
Sent my Mom NOTHING on Mothers Day, didn't call, didn't do shit and ignored her calls.
BUT...
I had the florist sorted to deliver her a different bunch of flowers EVERY day for the next week (starting the day AFTER Mothers Day) with a different card each day..
And each card at the bottom said "Because Everyday Should Be Mother's Day with a Mom Like You"
Corny, a cliche, suckie?
Might be all of those, but let me tell you, my Mother has not shut up about it ever since.
She loved it.
