I'm about to whip up my specialty:

Cappuccino Blueberry Pancakes with hot Italian smoked sausage.

One batch of these and you can't move for an hour or two. Don't get fat either, makes you lose fat cause the fiber in the blueberries absorbs all the fat in the food and cleans out your system.

I know these are great cause my Dad had a handyman at one of his houses who was a chef for the Royal Marines. He came into the kitchen one day and I served him up a dish of these pancakes and he was slain. Told me they were the best pancakes he ever tasted and begged for the recipe.

The one recipe I wish I had gotten was from another chef my Dad had hired. He used to cook southern food. I mean waaaayyyy back in the hills southern food.

One night my parents were out and I visited their house to watch it. Opened up the fridge and there was a huge plate of bar b que... Best freakin' bar b que I ever had and I was tearing it up and watching Star Trek. I was in-the-zone!

Then the parents come home, Dad pops his head in the kitchen and says:

" Son! Glad you got hold of that bar b qued raccoon! I couldn't eat another bite! "

I almost keeled over. If I had known what it was I wouldn't have eaten it. I thought it was rabbit or something.

Yet that recipe ROCKED ASS. To this day I can't find bar b que like it.
