Ive rode gsxrs for years, then we built a 182 hp RI $$$ (formula 1 class for willow) that the owner got thrown from and I got to ride it the next 2 years. it was fucking awesome. you could actually lift the nose leaned over coming out of a hard corner by rolling on just right and you could gas it and lean it over in the air (2-3 in) to the opposite corner like a fighter plane with out fancy smancy wheelies... it was frickin faster than shit. We ran it on a dyno and with street gearing got 218mph out of it. (no wind resistance etc..) fastest I went on it was 187. That was really being alive. loved it.
Planning on getting a new gsxr soon. My old one wore out . It got so I rode it so hard I went through tires every 3 weeks. (ran Palomar Mt) got tired of running with it pegged wide open all the time and just lost interest in it after I started riding the R1. .... fun stuff (yes I crashed a few times and yes it hurt. wear armor no matter how hot.
