(for those that haven't figured it out, Club Jenna is ClubJenna.com, which is THE Jenna Jameson, pornstar extraordinaire)

In the beginning when first sued by Acacia (back on Dec 18th, 2003), they were considering settling, looking at their business and deciding what was the best decision to make (especially since companies like Hustler had already settled).

Thanks to the brilliant marketing tactics by Acacia in trying to convince Club Jenna to settle, Club Jenna decided to make it a BUSINESS DECISION, to not settle, and instead, to fight by joining the defense group.

A quote from Jenna from the AVN article:

"Acacia is making a blatant attempt to target the adult industry in its effort to extract unwarranted fees for alleged infringement of its patents," Jameson said. "I don?t think people realize the implications of what Acacia is trying to do. If Acacia succeeds in intimidating adult site owners, they will move to mainstream sites and begin charging fees that will have to be passed on to everyone who uses the Internet."
