D'OH! Never mind. I see. SEGuru 'is' a radio show dude.
Well another goodie found!
I think what I see is that my site is so niche specific because it's got content that is practically impossible to get without spending a fortune up front.
So my traffic is highly optimized. Other sites don't convert for me because most people get the stuff free anyhow. What my site sells however are software, services, live entertainment, tutorials.
Stuff like 'spread4u' or 'ARS' sell because they cover either specific niches or offer programs that enhance and serve.
I use Cyberage as a portal because the staff is always courteous and helpful. Often going way beyond the call of duty. Their customers have been around so long they just STAY. Once you get trusted, people not only stick with you they trust you when you pitch something. It's RARE for me to sell something on my sites means it's either cool or a longgg record for service.
I see that in commission checks I get. I remember in the old days in the beginning putting up banners or button ads just to see what happened when I first started my site. Some worked some didn't, BUT those that did still send those checks! That's important because it shows the companies that started the programs still keep their word. Makes good business.
