dude.... go to the "Webmaster Q & Fuckin' A" Forum and do this shit in there.... no one will bother you there and you can test away until you figure it out.
By the way, are you maybe trying to hotlink an image off your server that is under .htaccess protection? It ain't never gonna work man.....
