When your getting shot and killed, there is no psychological way to maintain a completely rational and compassionate mindset. I wouldnt trust someone who was in a war, prepared to kill or be killed, who wasnt a little bit fucking sadistic. Its war. Its not a humanitarian cause. Why didnt their superiors tell them to PUT AWAY THE FUCKING CAMERA though. Durrr. And come on guys, dont ditch the soldiers as soon as they misbehave. I work at a Veterans home and those guys tell me the shit they did in Korea and WW2 straight out of high school. That shit fucks people up. If anything, I would expect a lot worse. Not right, just the facts. Look at the famous Zombardo experiments. We are animalistic, and in the right settings, we do fucked up stuff.
