SPAM - Not the Email kind
The US and EU have legislations to fight and/or regulate SPAM, but what about the SPAM that you get every day in your "real" mailbox? We're talking box loads of wasted paper...
I live in a rental community where there are 700 appartments, every day I get flyers and brochures on how to get my lawnn greener or a new sceptic tank or a new paint job for the outside walls.... How many trees have to be wasted to send me this totally irrelevant SPAM ?
Same goes for bullshit flyers under your windshield, can't go shopping without having the joy of coming back to your car and finding all that shit on the windshield, and when it rains.....
Now, I am not a tree hugger, I do not use SPAM as a way to generate revenues, and like most people I am annoyed when each morning when I wake up and I click on "Send/Receive" I watch in horror as the email count rises and rises, knowing that 99% of it is bullshit SPAM.
But I think that it is a dangerous precedent to let our governments get involved in such things as SPAM, what will be next?
