The sad thing man is this shit is condoned by just about all teachers in schools in one way or another.

It's the "positive" peer pressure.

In other words if you are a Goth kid or a "stoner,", they turn a blind eye when the preps, and jocks pick on you...because the teachers want you to be pressured to conform to what they think is "normal."

Those coaches at that school where the upper classmen raped some of the younger boys *as young as 14* with broom handles etc still feel as though they did nothing wrong.

No they may not have said to go out and do this exactly, but the environment they create lends itself to these kinds of things happening.

Kinda like in A Few Good Men..."Did you order the code red?!"

That scene could be played out in just about every adminstrators office with coaches and teachers alike across this country.
