Just free to knife you to death instead then, perhaps you can challenge the burglar to a dual - however my point is you are not "free" to the decision of owning a handgun, you are told you can not own one, is anyone truely free? there is laws to prohibit lots of things, laws made by the rich, protection for the rich etc. it's not who is the most free, it's who's government does not restrict the freedom of it's citizens the most?
