What most people don't realize is, our military isn't THAT pathetic. Our ships and subs are, but we have troops to stop any would be renegade attack against us. We have troops to deal with native uprisings, even potential riots or whatever. We have planes to shoot down hijacked airliners, like the one that got intercepted by 2 CF-18s last week. In America having 20 million fucking F-16's doesn't help when your "President" lets attacks happen instead of shooting down hijacked planes.
We don't have an offensive army, because guess what, we don't invade countries. We don't have an army to fight in a world war, because guess what, we don't start world wars. During WWII we kicked serious ass. In Afghanistan we're kicking serious ass today. During 1812 we kicked YOUR ass. America should have standard health care too like every other civilized nation, but Republicans would rather play star wars.
