benefits?? setting aside health care and that we dont have bush in power but the prestige?? seriously, why do so many americans walk around with a canadian lapel pin?? When travelling they dont want to be known as americans for fear of being shot at. They get treated better when thought of as being canadians. Not much prestige in getting shot at now is there??
