I'm sure there are some very talented singers, actresses, artists, hahahahahars, dancers, etc. in the Miss GFY bunch, but that's not part of the Miss GFY contest. 
I think this was a good idea for one of the weekly competitions, I just think it's a little sad and wonky that it was the very first one. Photo should have at least come after a couple of other tasks. Just my opinion, though.
