I really need to know . . . Do you care?
I find this mildly amusing, but it got me to thinking.
Early this morning I finally got tired of MicroChick (aka Confucy) and I put her on ignore. I did a cut and paste so that she could see that she was on ignore, thinking this would free up some time in her day.
Boy, was I wrong about that. She sent me a very interesting email expressing her outrage that I dare put her on ignore.
Obviously she was angered by the fact that I could do this, which has brought about this question:
If someone voluntarily puts you on their ignore list, do you care? I am not talking about when someone pulls a trick like Smokey used to where people would be added to multiple ignore lists just by reading a thread. If someone voluntarily does it, is it going to ruin your day?
As a secondary question, if you put someone on ignore, do you have the intestinal fortitude to refrain from clicking the link just to see what the ignored person has to say?
Personally, I could care less if someone puts me on ignore, and I never click the link to view the ignored persons post.
Discuss.
