Do yourself a favor and take him up on this Butrfield. I did on my birthday. Hottest club in LA right now.
This is probably the best deal on this list for nightclub things and you are sure to see a star or two (Britney, Justin, ....)
SkyBar is also great. SaddleRanch is pretty interesting, I know the owners there, so I could hook you up with that.
If you get a chance, go up to Point Dume. The turn is just before Zima Beach off PCH on the left and you will go through a very exclusive neighborhood. Other than my favorite surfing spot, many movies have been filmed there and often it host celebrities that layout hidden behind rocks and such. Wear hiking boots though, you must descend down a tall ladder to access it.
