Georgia court ruled that he should have been prosecuted for the misdemeanor charge of statutory rape instead of aggravated child molestation.

I think 3 years difference in ages might be pushing it he was 18 she was 15...however I don't think it should be child molestation.
My aunt in Texas is a probation officer and my cousin turned 18 and his girlfriend was 16...and I remember her warning him that under current state law if he was brought up on charges he would have to register as a sex offender the rest of his life.
Kinda fucked up if you ask me.
Glad someone was able to help this kid out...his life would have definitely been ruined if he had to register as a child molester...you might as well had just locked him up for life.
