It's called Navy Pier. It's a nice entertainment area.
Chicago is cool... literally. I lived there. I'll never move back. It's really nice for the 3 months of summer. The Taste of Chicago during the summer is a must if you've never experienced it.
The other 9 months are all winter. There is no fall or spring in Chicago. But don't take my word for it. Go to Chicago and meet the legendary "Hawk" in person.
