No wonder. They where interviewing a guy from the Iraqi resistance a few weeks ago and he said that at first he liked the US. I don't remember the exact story but I believe he was taking a cab and it appears that US forces pay like $500 to anyone who brings a member of the Baath party. So the cab driver, short on money gave that man up to the US authorities even though he didn't have anything to do with the Baath party. He was released within a few weeks but he said that he was treated like shit and from then on he swore to fight against US forces.
