What you're describing sounds like something which has progressed to the state you're currently suffering from....
There is 'aversion therapy', which you could try yourself..and, it involves a few things.
1. Go stand outside your front door several times a day.
Start with a minute and increase the time by a minute or two every week. Then, increase the distance from your front door to the street.
2. Think about what happened and when a particular incident occurred in your life and timeline it to when you started feeling paranoid and socially unacceptable. Once you've timelined the progression, it's easier to pinpoint when this got so bad that you don't want to go anywhere and you think people are judging you.
You, my friend, are headed toward a condition called paranoia and agoraphobia and you need to be treated.
While anti anxiety drugs may help short term...at least, long enough to get you into a car and to a counselor or shrink, they will not cure the problem you have.
From what I'm reading here, there is real fear....which can be crippling. Run, do not walk, to your nearest health center and talk to someone. Confidentiality is far greater in a shrink's office than on this board.
Good luck to you.
