One small step you could take is to put up a page of companies you've blacklisted, giving these reasons why you won't recommend them to anyone.
Then email each company one last time, including the URL

No company I know of likes bad publicity. Sometimes the only thing that gets you results is to threaten them that you'll "go public" and start recommending that others NOT do business with their company. A company rep would have to be pretty brain-dead not to have some reaction to this.
