Lazy admin as far as I am concerned.
I know shit about admin and I told him this and he still tried to make me do it all.

That is some fucked up shit! last time I checked one is required to have root access to do such things, he told you to go play by yourself because clearely it was an easy way for him to get the reply "okay, Ill give it a try".
