$5.00 is nothing but $5.00 worth of food is still more than $0.
A pack of smokes and a bag of beans is worth getting up for
when you're starving. But talk about an unreliable group of morons!!! I should have paid more and hired better.
You gotta spend money to make money; anyone ever hear
that? Well you might have to spend some on the employees.
Low wage earners quit all the time to find something better so then
the company spends $2000 by tying up other employees to hire and train the new guy that will quit in 3 weeks also causing them to spend another $2000.
Smart employers pay more; because they know this already.
Minimum wage is just for businesses that are still stupid enough to believe they make more thru exploitation of people. They didn't get the message back in the 1800's "it's more profitibale and productive to pay people who want to work than it is to keep trying to capture escaped slaves and investing in slaves that simply committed suicide to fuck you on your investment".
I saw a sign posted for McDonalds hiringing at $9.00 an hour.
McD's is tired of people quitting and tired of only getting morons to apply that have to be fired anyway because it's fucking up their overall productivity. "If we pay enough to hire someone
with a brain who speaks good english then they wont fuck the order up and the customer will come back"... Get it?
Shitty wages attract shitty emlployees who make the business shitty and people with money to spend avoid them like the plague.

Well said, and very true.
It amazes me how many business owners don't understand the
basic concept of a market economy. If there is one thing I have
learned over the years, it is the fact that You Get What You Pay For!
I pay approx. 30% more than the going rate for the trades in my area. What I get for this is loyal, dependable people.
My turnover rate is almost nil, and productivity is 110%.
Pay second rate wages and you WILL get second rate employees.
A bargain doesn't always save you money.
