When someone does an img src on an html page, every time someone visits that page with the img src that persons browser tries to download img srced page because it thinks it is an image and finds out it is not only after it finished downloading it.
Imagine the a web site that gets 100000 visitors a day img srces a 100 kb page on someone's web site, that's 10 GB a day.
What if the page is bigger or the web site gets more visitors....
