Google's founders and executive staff will have a lot more control over the company than the public would. Personally, I think this is a bold and fantastic move by Google. Keeping it tough as hell for competitors to try and acquire them, while also making it tough as shit for the board to gain real company control over them as well. The reason Google has been so innovative and absolutely amazing is because they focus on their market, and not on wealth.
Yahoo, focuses plain and simple on making a lot of money. Google focuses on maximizing the ROI of their advertisers, while still providing extremely relevant search results to it's users. MSN, well, when they release their new algo we'll see what they are up to.
