That's why there is Linux.
It is sooo true though. The only good OSs that M$ came out with were Win3.11 and Win2k. The rest is good for the trash.
Example:
I am sitting here in the research lab on Campus that has about 50 or 60 PIII 1Ghz machines that are all connected to the university network.
Even JESUS products would not be able to fix the catastrophical situation! All machines run Win98SE - awefully slow. The harddrives must be 99.8% fragmented; I am scared to open two instances of ICQ cuz it might create a BSOD. Ughhh...
I am glad Linux starts getting into the game slowly but surely... (any followers of /. out there ?)
