I think your right, good point.

Everyone talks about what he gave up. But the day it was reported, even Rush said that he has given up no more than any other brave soldier killed in combat. No more, no less.


We now realize because of Tillman that we throw around the word "hero" and "soldier" to much when reffering to sports. Amazingly, Tillman was a hero just like all the other real soldiers!
