You are an Intellectual Giant! Hey dumbass, GM's cost for sheet metal is elastic because of the volatility in the commodities spot market. However, because of FUCKTARD labor unions (formed to protect useless maggots such as yourself) their costs for labor are FIXED. So what happens? Less profitability coming from cost reduction -- just focus on sales.
That's not the way a proper biz is run. It gets profits BOTH from lowering costs and increasing sales.
Indeed, because of the high labor costs in the US, our goods cost a lot more and we end up selling less... hence we rely on fucked up trade mechanisms like tarrifs.
