as someone mentioned above .. a .mov file from your digicam will not produce "dvd" quality video.

but regardless ... if u still want to put it on a CD, you could:

1) convert .mov to .avi (quicktime player pro has built in functions to do this)

2) avi .. to mpeg2 (pretty much, there are 2 mpg2 formats ... SVCD and DVD) ... the choice depends on your output media obviously.

3) use a burning program like Nero to burn the "video" cd ... Nero will ask if u want to burn a VCD, SVCD, or DVD

a good tool to convert AVI > Mpeg2 .. is TMPGencoder.
