I don't see the big secret in TGPs. List gallery submissions, mix in a % of blind links, stir, and you are done.
Some guys go "quality" and have no trades. Most have no traffic, too. Largest percentage of TGPs have trades, and the larger sites either have 30-50% trade ratio, or MASSIVE number of links on the page, shaved at 70-80%
The more traffic that sees your main page ads, the more money you make. Up to you to figure out how to get the surfers to the sponsors, but if you surf it isn't hard to see.
