Sure, my doubts however are more about the use of antibiotics. I don't want to use them unless I really have to (it's better to let your imune system take the beating and come out stronger than taking the easy way out and breeding resistant bacteria). And as I understand the situation, all the doctor can do for you is proscribing antibiotics. Therefore I felt it would be more appropriate to see how this develops before considering going to any doctor.
Also, I read that untreated pneumonia has a 30% chance of killing you. Or in other words, 30% of the people who get pneumonia and don't treat it die. These 30% are mainly the weak and old.
