Well, three things from me:
1. The pink on orange in the story list is sort of hard on the eyes. Wouldn't be my choice of color blending.
2. The stories look great, but some of us have really big monitors and have to go all the way from one side to the other to read them. Maybe you could condense the text towards the middle a little more.
3. Personally, I would put more sponsor links throughout.
