Cairo - Hundreds of leaflets distributed in the embattled western Iraqi town of Fallujah on Wednesday offered a $15m reward for anyone who kills any of three top US officials involved in operations in Iraq.
The leaflets, reported by the Qatar-based al-Jazeera and other electronic media, show pictures of US defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld, top US General Ricardo Sanchez and General Mark Kimmitt, who acts as military spokesperson in Iraq.
The money was "a reward (to) who brings one of these heads. Contact Islamic resistance offices in Iraq," said the leaflet, written in both Arabic and English and showing pictures of the three. - Sapa-dpa
