I have no clue Buff really what the current number of infections are other than the 2 confirmed. My guess from the start was always 4-6 of the girls who worked with James would ultimately test postive based on nothing but a hunch. Since HIV is much more likely to be spread from male to female, with luck it's possible that's where the outbreak would be contained since all but one of the first generation is female. I'm not even sure at which point in the development of the virus is is most contagious, so i can't even speculate whether the girls who worked with him earlier are at less risk than the girls who worked with him closer to the date his HIV was picked up on a test.
Mikey, AIM says the tests they use, PCRDNA and the RNA test, will catch 75% of HIV cases 30 days after contact with an infected person and at 60 days 99%.
