It temporarily changes the shape of your blood cells, inhibiting their ability to absorb oxygen (thus the euphoric feeling): . Not getting enough oxiginated blood to your body parts and they start to tingle, hence the heightened tactile sensation. In an attempt to get more oxygen to these parts, the body has to send more blood, increasing blood flow to said parts causes swelling. When blood vessels become dialated the nerves are more responsive.

I am wrong about this. I was recollecting info from classes I took 12 years ago in high school. I grew up in a desert that was famous for it's raves. In AP biology we had a semester in anotomy physiology with focus on neuro biology. Since drugs were so prevelent in the school district, our instructor wanted to showcase 'club drugs' and the effects on the nervous system.

The paragraph I stated earlier was in conjunction with symptoms relating to the use of inhalents, namely NO (nitrous oxide), and not MDMA.

I am a moron and should have checked my shit to confirm before spewing from my mouth.

See? that's evidence right there that MDMA causes brain damage.
