btw, today the detective finished putting the case together and recommended to the DA that charges be filed against the driver for A) driving on the wrong side of the road, B) Felony hit and run
After they found out the driver was already on probation, they got him into the detective's office for a statement, he admitted running over me and driving away. Said he fell asleep and hit me, then he was scared so he left. Its funny that he was already on probation for an alcohol related charge... I bet he was drunk and hit me, and he knew his ass was going to jail, so he left, hoping to get away with it.
Took a good attorney and a private investigator to find him.
Anyway, he is going to prison now for sure. And tomorrow I start finding an attorney for the civil case againt him, now that I have everything I need.
