At least it was vaguely obvious he was going to go.. no way he was going to be able to croon through Gloria Estafan.
He's fairly one dimensional, he'll probably still get a good recording contract to sing the oldies though.
BTW the way American Idol does it's shows fucking sucks, they have to sing the horrible back catalogue of a different washed up piece of shit ex-star every week depending on what dodgy performer has some re-issue or greatest hits album released that week. Besidse Elton John, who gives a fuck? The low point would have had to have been Barry Manilow last week. Blegh.
