Hilton hotels are even in every 3rd world country cause everywhere are ppl with money who need a nice hotel
But if you don't want to pay hundrets of bucks per night I suggest you choose business hotels,mostly avaible in every country or a capsule hotel in japan
(not recomment if you are over 190cm ,than you might die
)
If you really want to travel around the world by plain book a flight to the nearest country from the country you are just at.Than it might cost you less than 10k.
And think about the stay times,if you stay 3 days or less it might stress you more than staying at home
If you have more time do some backpack traveling for half a year.Also you won't need much money for that (under 1k).You can get an interrail ticket for that kind of traveling.
